Shirley Ann Lindvold, age 84, of Miles City, passed away on February 3, 2022 at the Holy Rosary Residential Living in Miles City.
Shirley was born November 18, 1937 in Britton, SD, the daughter of Henry and Viola (Slaight) Barbnecht. Shirley attended schools in Havana, North Dakota and graduated high school in 1955. She then attended Valley City State Teacher’s College in North Dakota. On December 11, 1960, Shirley married the love of her life Donald Lindvold in Britton, SD.
Shirley enjoyed bowling, dancing, gardening, baking, cooking and fishing. Decorating for the holidays was a huge passion of Shirley’s, especially at Christmas time. She owned and operated Shirley’s Café for many years.
Shirley is survived by her sister Midge McLaughlin of ND; her children: Valerie (Scott) Woodhead of AZ; Keith (Joesette) Lindvold of CA; Royce (Jenny) Lindvold of Miles City; and Angie (Bill) Miller of Billings; seven grandchildren: Kendall and Christopher Lindvold; Andrew and Jeremy Woodhead; Jordan Hagemeister, Wyatt and Kaiti Lindvold; four great grandchildren: Kaden, Alyson, Sarah and Noah Lindvold. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents Henry and Viola, and her siblings Donna and Rosalie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Don. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
