Shirley F. Thompson-Dugan, age 64,of Forsyth, MT passed away at her home on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
Shirley was born on April, 8, 1947 the daughter of Donald and Elma (Rodacker) Jenson in Carrington, ND. She grew up and attended school in Carrington, ND.In March of 1964, Shirley married Loren Thompson in Fountain, CO. To this union three children were born, Tammy, Timothy and Brenda. They later divorced.Shirley was united in marriage to Richard Dugan on June 11, 1993 in Coeur dAlene , ID.Together, they lived in Missoula, MT and moved to Forsyth, MT in 1994. She enjoyed camping, mountain drives, fishing, friends, family, work, old country music, The Dallas Cowboys and the University of Montana Grizzlies. She also enjoyed bowling and playing darts for the Dart League in Forsyth. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary - Post 12 in Wickenburg, AZ, and the Eagles Lodge in Missoula, MT. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elma and Don Jenson and her brother Dwight.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard of Forsyth; her children, Tammy (Gerald Davis) Thompson, Timothy (Lori) Thompson and Brenda (Doug) Scott all of Pasco, WA; her sisters, Sharon Graham of Great Falls, MT, Barb Larson of Carrington, ND, and Cindi Jenson of Wickenburg, AZ; her brother Larry Jenson of Williston, ND. She is also survived her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2011 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm with family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons of Forsyth.Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at11:00 am in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons of Forsyth.A Private burial will take place at a later date.
