Skippy L. McLaughlin, 78 of Terry died Friday, May 22, 2009 at home of kidney failure.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery south of Mandan, North Dakota on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2 pm.
Skip was born November 13, 1930 in Britton, South Dakota. He served two years in the navy. He married Patricia Weber in 1950. To this union were born four sons: Michael, Boyd, Bradley and Kelly. On September 21, 1986 he married Shirley K. Kauffman in Billings, Montana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sons Boyd and Bradley.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; brother Mearl Ashley of Britton, South Dakota; son Michael (Darlene) of Mandan, North Dakota; son Kelly (Teri) of Black Hawk, Colorado; daughter Tura (Jim) Butcher of Billings, Montana; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two sisters and brothers-in-law; one niece and three nephews.
