Skyler was stillborn on Friday, August 12, 2005.

Skyler is survived by his parents Tabitha Long and Eric Gholson of Gillette, Wyoming; Grandparents: Rob and Pamela Gholson of Upton, Wyoming; Arnold Long of Gillette, Wyoming; Sarah Long of Belle Fourche, South Dakota; and Bob and Dorothy Gholson of New Mexico. Two sisters: Valerie Peterson of Gillette, Wyoming and Brittany Gholson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one brother Aspynn Gholson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Aunts and uncles: Katie Gholson of Upton, Wyoming; Dee Anna (Troy) Archuleta of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Sean (Jennifer) Gholson of Rapid City, South Dakota; Shannon Long of Gillette and Preston Long of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
