My sincere condolences to your family. Please be comforted by Bible promises at this difficult time. Continue to dwell on the happy memories and Sopheira’s beautiful smile. Death and suffering was not part of God’s purpose for mankind. Everything that God created was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is ‘near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator has promised to soon “swallow up death forever…and wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25;8) Meanwhile we have the opportunity to follow Jesus’ instruction to continue taking in Bible knowledge that leads to everlasting life (John 17:3).

May precious little Sopheira Sky-LaRose RIP, Jesus’ whole-hearted concern for the weak was the same as his Father’s feelings “Likewise it is not a desirable thing with my Father who is in Heaven for one of these little one’s to perish. ” Matthew 18:14. May Jesus’ prayer in Matthew 6:10, as well be your firm hope for the future, “Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in Heaven, also upon Earth.” Psalms 115:16; John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:10,11

I Sometimes I feel sorry for myself and I wish I could have been a better auntie.. but I was too caught up in my first year of my high school basketball season. And I know things may not be perfect right now but I still miss and love you with everything I got. I think of you and Alex all the time. We know now to cherish what you got before its gone. And I can’t wait to meet you on the other side. Haa and you were just tiny! I remember showing you off at my home games and everyone fell in love with you. -Tempo
