Staci Ann Riis, age 50 of Helena, passed away at Benefis Health Care Center in Great Falls, June 2, 2010.
Staci was born November 1, 1959, in Helena, to James Barney and Janice Marlene (Menth) Riis. She attended schools in Helena, graduating from Capital High School in 1977. Staci was employed with various jobs in the Helena area. She worked for Les Schwab Tire for four years in Helena and in Butte where she currently was employed. Staci loved her grandchildren and her family. She also had great fondness of her friends and co-workers at Les Schwab Tire.
Staci was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Spencer Nelson of Helena; Brother, Scott (Trish) Riis of Bozeman; Sister, Shelley (Shane) Dempsey of Helena; Cousins, Joyce Riis-Kibler, Janet Riis, Kevin (Jeannie) Dunn, Karen (Levi) Smith, Mike (Lenore) Menth, Marci Turney all of Helena, Jim (Mary) Riis of Wyoming; Uncle, Irvin Riis of Winston and Aunt, Ann (Ed) Dunn of Helena, two grandchildren, Brea and Kaelynn Nelson.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2010 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
