Stanley James Totcky

Funeral Service: At Stans request, cremation has taken place and military graveside services will be held at a later date

Stanley James Totcky, age 73, of Broadus passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 as a result of an auto accident.

Stan was born on December 10, 1933, in Wayne, Michigan, the son of George and Dorothy Anastasia (Paige) Totcky. He grew up and attended schools in Wayne where he graduated from high school in. He then entered the United States Navy where he served for four years. Stan married Marian Patrias on January 11, 1958 in Wayne, Michigan. They later moved to Romeo, Michigan where Stanley worked for Ford Proving Ground.

Stan was a member of VFW Club in Broadus and was a Coordinator for (DES) Disaster Emergency Systems. He loved to show Quarter horses and Appaloosas. He was actively involved in breeding, breaking and showing horses and was also involved in cutting. He and Marian traveled all over in various competitions. A horse they raised qualified for the Nationals. Stan liked living in Broadus and especially the people.

Stan is survived by his wife, Marian Totcky of Broadus, MT; tow sons: Frank James (Vicki) Totcky of Grand Junction, CO; and Donald Lawrence Totcky of Rock Hill, SC; three daughters: Nancy Ann Orr of Fruita, CO; Julie Marie (Wayne) Mikesell of Dixon, WY; and Jean Louise Hofmann of Olive, MT; a brother, Frances Totcky of Springhill, FL; a sister, Janet Rivette of Upland, CA; a brother-in-law, Dick Guilford of Tampa, FL; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Dorothy Jean Smith, Patricia Guilford and Mary Ann Weber and two brothers: Robert Totcky and Tom Totcky.

At Stans request, cremation has taken place and military graveside services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Stans honor to a charity of choice in the Broadus Community.
