I worked with Dr. Smith in Anchorage at the urgent care facility, then the family practice. His dedication to medicine, coupled with his fun sense of humor made work such a great experince. A special work memory was the day he “pirouetted” from the patient exam room into the hallway….the patient had appendicitis, which meant he could go assist in the patient’s surgery that day…he was excited! I feel much gratitude that our professional paths crossed, and that our friendship has continued almost 30 years. A very special man to all who loved him. Barb and family, please know how much I care. Linda Garrison, RN

This man was such an extraordinary human being. He touched so many people lives. I, my niece, and my great nephew were all patients of his. I had the added pleasure of working with him as well. He possessed every aspect and quality of life one could even hope to possess. His since of humor was off the chart. I, my family and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him are so very blesses. My thought ands prays are with all of his family and loved ones…. God Bless you all!
