Stella Thomas, age 50, of Rolla, North Dakota, formerly of Forsyth, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2004, following a long illness.
Stella was born in Forsyth, Montana on May 13, 1953 the daughter of Emmanuel and Josephine (Pabolo) Martinez. She was raised and attended school in the Forsyth area. She later married Stanley Thomas. Stella lived in Forsyth where she raised her children and later moved to Dunseith where she resided until the time of her death.
Stella is survived by her six children, daughter, Destiny Thomas of Rolla, ND, five sons, Kevin Thomas ofBelcourt, ND, Phillip Thomas and his wifeMarnie of Bozeman, MT, Michael Thomas and his wife Rene of Belcourt, ND, Stanley Thomas Jr. of Rolla, ND, and Justin Thomas of Rolla, ND. She is also survived by her brother Bob Martinez, sisters, Julia Thomas and husband Steve of Belcourt, ND, Modesta Martinez of Forsyth, Angie Neil of Cheyenne, WY, Deloris Button and husband Ron of Colstrip, MT Josie Morrill and husband Bruce of Marysuale, UT, and 15 grandchildren.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Joe Martinas, Johnny Martinez and Denny Martinez, her nephew, Eddie Martinez and niece Rose Marie Martinez.
