Stephanie Diane Forberg or Steph as she was more commonly known, was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on September 1st 1982. She moved to Chehalis, Washington with her parents when she was three years old. As a child she went through the entire AWANA program; working hard to memorize every scripture verse. Steph was a leader in AWANA when she became an adult and enjoyed teaching children about the Lord and helping them to memorize the same scripture verses she came to love. She made her family very proud when she graduated this last June from Centralia College with her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She recently moved to Forsyth, Montana after her graduation to be closer to her parents. Stephanie has been working at Wesleyan Church Wee Care Childcare for the past three months. The children there as well as her co-workers will miss Stephanie very much. She had a great passion and calling to work with children and has touched so many people´s lives. Her love for the Lord was very evident and she was able to show that to people through the way she cared about them. She has many good friends in Washington who will miss her very much and will remember the times they shared with her.
Stephanie left behind her grandparents Chester and Marie Johnson, her parents Allyn and Diane Forberg, her brother Jason and his wife Megan, several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, as well as her beloved cat Dusty.
Steph, we miss you but we know you are with the Lord, where you always looked forward to be. We friends and family will look forward to seeing you again in heaven.

Stephanie loved the Lord and was an eager participant in activities as she grew up in the Centralia Bible Chapel. She was in my Sunday school class for a couple of years and was always doing extra things. She especially loved being in the Christmas program each year.Sincere sympathies to Stephanie’s parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and others, and you are all in our prayers.

I enjoyed the many times Steph would stop by. Sometimes to visit, and sometimes to say Hi to Mia, the dog. She loved to take Mia alongside her bike to the dog park, and Mia still gets excited when she sees a person on a bike. I loved it when Steph wanted to practice her speeches for a college class. She wasn’t afraid to speak up for human rights, and her strong moral beliefs. I love you Steph, and miss you!
Heather Mckinzie says
Stephanie, I miss you so much already. I keep checking my phone for a call or a text and then I remember that you are with our Lord Jesus. I don’t think any of us were ready to let you go but we will see you again someday. I will miss our conversations, movie nights, and your homemade soups. I will also miss your smile and your laugh. There are many things you did that made a lasting impression. The gift of love and tenderness that you shared with children, the joy you brought to others, and your convictions about what was right, good and true. You loved the Lord and showed that love by the way you treated others. You are greatly missed. I can’t wait til I will see you again. (I expect the Grand Tour!) Your friend and sister in Christ, Heather
