Steven Robert Searcy, age 68, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home in Miles City surrounded by his family.
Steve was born July 11, 1949 to John and Dorothy (Vance) Searcy in Rock Island, Illinois. Steve was the oldest of three siblings: Susan Sperry, Michael Searcy & Chuck Searcy. Growing up, Steve was a very talented artist. He could draw anything, cars, people, anything. Steve had a lot of his drawings hung in the schools and libraries. He loved fishing, listening to music, and playing guitar. Steve took pride in his beautiful long hair. Steve’s most prized possession was his beautiful daughter Cheyenne Lynn-Marie Searcy who was born October 19, 1999 with his then wife Haley Mills. Cheyenne was daddy’s little girl all the way, he took her everywhere with him.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy M. (Vance) Searcy on December 1, 1991 and his father John R. “Bob” Searcy on November 1, 2009. Steve is survived by his daughter Cheyenne Lynn-Marie Searcy; sister, Susan Sperry; brothers: Michael Searcy and Chuck Searcy; step son, Jeremy Beierle (Ashley); grandson Daton Cooper; granddaughter Genoa Cooper; girlfriend Lori Skogas; ex-wife Haley Mills; John Eades; his best friend James Long; dogs: Zip John, Benie Bean; cats: Grey, Elvis, Pipers, NiNi, Tom-Tom and Tigerous; and all his friends at Town Pump, First National Pawn, Zip Trip and Saint Vincent’s.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will be follow in Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.

Sorry to here about Steve passing love too talk too him when I ran into him this is hard too take in I just seen him at the laundry mat a few months ago and he seemed fine I’m just surprised and in shock my thoughts and prayers go out too the family
