They made their home in Great Falls where she was an insurance agent and a member of the Life Underwriter Training Council, being president from 1998 to 1999, until the time of her death. Sue enjoyed sewing, quilting, camping, huckleberry picking, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially their three dogs; Tuffy, Tiger and Tinkerbell. Sue was always looking for ways to give - to her family and friends even throughout her battle with breast cancer. She served as a shining example of courage, grace, and strength.
