Susan S. Devlin, age 54, of Terry passed away on May 2, 2012 at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
The daughter of William Everett and Ruth (Wiebe) Segelke, Susan, was born on July 26, 1957 in Sterling, Colorado. She graduated high school at Brush, Colorado. She went on to college at Loretto Heights in Denver, Colorado and obtained a bachelor’s of science in nursing. Susan married Todd Devlin on September 15, 1984.
Susan’s great pleasures in life included spending time with family, gardening, sewing, collectables, nursing, her faith, and supporting as well as promoting Montana history. She loved to watch her three boys growing up and attending their various school and sporting events.
Susan is survived by her parents Everett and Ruth Segelke of Hillorose, CO; her husband Todd Devlin of Terry, MT; three sons: Owen Devlin of Terry, MT; Everett Devlin of Terry, MT and Henry Devlin of Terry, MT; three sisters: Kim (Vic) Vondy of Sterling, CO; Arlene (Darrell) Smith of Yuma, CO; Naomi (Frank) James of Carr, CO; two brothers: Chris Segelke of Hillrose, CO and Glen Segelke of Hillrose, CO; one nephew Dave (Brenda) Vondy and their kids Faith, Brody & Brock of Brush, CO and and two nieces: Meredith Vondy of Brush, CO and Sophie Grace Segelke of Hillrose, CO.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Terry High School Gymnasium in Terry, MT. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Prairie County Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice or the Prairie County Ambulance, Prairie County Hospital, Ursuline Convent Keepers, Miles City Youth Hockey, the Evelyn Cameron Foundation or Gallery.
