I have many fond memories of visiting Aunt Sybil on trips to Montana but especially recall one of her few trips to Virginia to visit my mother (her sister). The 3 of us took great road trip together. First to Philadelphia to see the sites and my brother who took us to an Irish pub where Aunt Sybil danced a jig. On the ferry from New Jersey to Delaware Aunt Sybil sat on the deck gazing at the watery vastness. We had quite a slumber party in our shared hotel room in a little beach town. It was warm for fall so Mother and I lured Aunt Sybil into the ocean. Oh to see her surprised look when a wave lifted her off her feet. Then what laughs we shared over brunch and drinks from the mix-your-own Bloody Mary bar. It was so much fun to have Aunt Sybil all to ourselves.
Gary is glad that he got to know Aunt Sybil and we both will miss her. Our condolences to her extended family.

WE so recently lost our beloved Uncle Buddy, and now Aunt Sybil has followed him home. I am so happy that Wayne and I were able to attend Uncle Buddy’s funeral and spent some wonderful quality time with Aunt Sybil and a bunch of our cousins. Life has a tendency to get away from us, so it was an awesome reunion in spite of the sadness, and then to gather again with Paul and Vicky and their daughter, as well as Dorie and Martin in Kalispell a few weeks later. I love you guys…. and am praying for God’s peace for you. I loved them both so much, they were always there for me when I lost my dad, and I will always be grateful for their influence in my life. Terry, Paul, Cal…I love you guys, I am so sorry for you losing your mom… she was a huge inspiration to so many. Stay close… love you.

Sybil and my mom graduated together from RHS and they were fast friends. One of their class reunions was at Lloyd and Sybil’s home, and it was a great time. I still have some pictures mom had of that event. I can still remember delivering the newspaper to their home in Richey, back in the day. Sincere condolences to all the family.
Vi Schiffer says
Terry, Paul, Cal and all of the families, I was so sorry to read of the loss of your mom, grandma, sis, aunt, etc. Sybil was a great friend and we spent many hours playing pinochle with the guys, having coffee at the Joseph, and other places in later years. We had years of fun at Richey, Circle & Forsyth where we would meet other couples for hours of dancing and visiting. Sybil helped me get involved with Chamber and other Forsyth activities where she always took an active role. She and Lloyd will be greatly missed by us all. Love and Christ’s peace to you all, Vi
