Tammy Lynn Holbrook was born December 24,1963 to Charlie Mitchell Pharris and Betty Sue (Pharris) Demarco. She grew up in Georgia and was the second child, joining Theresa and later Mitch.
Tammy earned her CNA license at Georgia Technical College before taking a job as a nurse with Fieldale Farms (a poultry plant). This is where she met Jeff Holbrook. Jeff had been injured at work and needed to be checked out by the company nurse. Jeff and Tammy were later married in March of 1991.
Tammy and Jeff joked about leaving Georgia to get away from “fake” people. Montana was always an option. They put money down on a chunk of land and a few years later, their dream happened. After adopting their grandson, Dakota in 2013, they moved to Recluse, Wyoming on the Montana border. Jeff worked for Alex Rumph and Tammy worked at the Biddle store for Nathan Rumph.
Florida always was a special place for their family. They enjoyed visiting, fishing, camping, and spending time there together.
Tammy was such a free spirit. She had a beautiful, contagious smile. If you knew Tammy at all, you knew she had a strong faith in God. She was a good judge of character. Tammy enjoyed collecting rustic things to decorate her home. She loved to spend time with Jeff on their property in the middle of nowhere. It was their own slice of paradise. She has been reunited with the love of her life and we will see them both again soon.
Tammy is survived by Dakota, her mother, Betty (Nanna B), sister Teresa, brother Mitch, sisters-in-law Kay and Lisa, her son Dustin, step-son Jurell, step-daughters Menissa and Jennifer, 7 nieces and nephews, and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Faith Bible Church with Pastor Tom Herzog officiating. A luncheon will follow. Memorials or donations may be sent to an account set up for Dakota at Yellowstone Bank in Broadus.

Dear Dakota, and all of Tammy’s loved ones,
Our prayers for comfort are with you! We can not understand the loss of this lovely lady from our world, and yet I know her faith was in Jesus, from our conversation….we can trust she is with Him, and with all of those that have made Him their Savior.
Dakota, she told me what a joy you are, and she is so proud of you! Her words were” He’s a great guy!:)” I was telling her how you and the wrestlers helped pack things for my friend! That was amazing!!
We are here for you, in any way, our love and prayers continue! Big hugs!!!

Dakota and all of Tammy,s family. I was so shocked and heart broken to hear of Tammy’s passing. If ever there was a woman who loved her husband and son unconditionally, it was Tammy. She loved doing special things for her family. Dakota, if you need anything at all, we are always here and your favorite enchiladas and lasagna are just a hour away. We consider you family and I am so thankful I had your mom and dad out for your birthday supper. I am sure she will watch over you through Christ our Lord. Our deepest sympathy Dakota. Love you!
