Tammy Hughes, 46, of Miles City, entered Heaven’s gates on November 24th, 2020, in Billings, MT.
Tammy was born in Miles City, MT, to Charlotte and Warren Hughes on January 8th, 1974.
Tammy spent most of her childhood in Miles City before making her journey to Billings. In her 20’s, she entered a trade that would take her all over the United States. She worked as a welder’s helper for Pipeliners local union 798 for many years. Most would remember Tammy as a hard worker and a “top hand” in her line of work. She was a free spirit and lived a life going wherever the wind blew her. So, I guess you could say the pipeline life was the perfect fit.
Tammy loved to ride the back roads and listen to old tunes like “wild and blue.” Most would tell you that “Aunt Tam” knew how to get down with the best of them. She lived her life to the fullest she knew how to. We will all remember her for loving to have a good time with her friends and family and how she was able to bring a smile to your face when you needed it the most with her goofy, fun, and loving personality.
The one thing Tammy was so proud of was her children and grandchildren. Or as she liked to call them, Freddy, Porker, Creepy, Muff Man, Buckskinner, Swamp Booger, Button Button, and Peybutt. If she could have spent every second with them, she would have.
It hurts so much to say goodbye and thinking of all the things left unsaid or undone, but how lucky are we that we have something that makes saying goodbye so hard? She would not want us to cry, but smile, celebrate, love, and go on.
Tammy is preceded in death by her parents Charlotte and Warren Hughes, her grandma Sylvia Hughes, and her brother Frank Normandy.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Jazzma Hensarling, Ashleyrose Hughes, Page Hughes, son Warren Hughes, sisters Rose Brown and Tenielle Holzworth, grandchildren Kinleigh Hensarling, Ryder Kleinsasser, Hazel and Peyton Dobson, nieces Donna Jessen, Cassidy Grass, and nephews Cashen and Stanley Kipp, Cole Rickett, Cameron Sweet, and many cousins.
She will be interred by her mother in Miles City, MT.
