Tashina Thorp, age 24, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at her home in Miles City after brief illness.
Tashina was born on June 11, 1982 in Miles City, Montana, the daughter of Bill Rothe and Dawn Thorp. She attended schools in Miles City and Dull Knife Memorial College in Lame Deer where she received two presidential awards for her grades. She moved throughout Montana, working various jobs before settling with Shataras father, Chad Christian. They moved to Miles City in 2004. She met Sam in 2005 and together they had a son in 2006, Isaiah. She worked as a cashier for Walmart for 8 months. She loved to scrapbook, camp, fish and do most anything outdoors, but her main passion was her children.
Tashina is survived by her husband Samuel Pearson of Miles City, MT; two children, Shatara and Isaiah; her mother Dawn Thorp and her step father Kevin Anderson of Miles City, MT; two sisters, Cassie and Misty Anderson both of Miles City, MT; grandparents: Sharon Ervin (John) of Lake Havasu, AZ and Ward Thorp Sr. of El Paso, TX; and her great grandmother, Geraldine Brody of Miles City.
A barbeque for family and friends to celebrate Tashinas life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the family home.
