Teranie Rae Fisher “Rae Rae”, Nahkoxhaahketa “Little Bear”, born on April 21, 2002 to Cordelia Big Man and Stacey Fisher saddled her horse on May 27, 2019 to make her journey home.
Rae Rae, a cowgirl at heart had a passion and love for horses. She enjoyed riding when she could. If she got bucked off, she jumped right up and brushed herself off. Hurt or not, she always got back on that horse. Rae Rae didn’t stop there, high school football was a sport she played and enjoyed. Anything she could use her hands to create she would. She enjoyed baking, beading, sewing, drawing, listening to music, singing, weight lifting, collecting rocks, riding bikes and welding.
Although Rae Rae dressed like a tom boy, she could also clean up beautiful, like a bright new shiny penny.
She joked with everyone she knew, horse played with her nieces and nephews and enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Rae Rae recently graduated on May 17, 2019 from Lame Deer High School. She also attended Chief Dull Knife college and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Fine Arts on May 15, 2019.
She is survived by her mother, Cordelia P. Big Man; her father, Stacey Fisher; sisters, Alecia (Jesse), Kassie (Paul) Tierra; brothers, Garret, Brian, Carl, and Frank, crow mom, Shaliyah Falls Down; adopted brothers, JT Littlesun, and Terrance Limberhand; adopted sisters, Tawni, Trina, Ashley, Rhea, and Tia Littlesun.
Rae Rae has a large family and we apologize for not mentioning all family.

I am very sorry for your loss. It is difficult to find the right words to express during a time of grief. But I hope and pray that your family can find comfort in the promise that God will surely remember our loved ones that have passed and promises a remarkable hope for them and us. (John 5:28, 29)

To the family of Rae, I lost my oldest son to suicide back in 2006. He took a big piece of me when he left this world. He wore his heart on his sleeve. The thing I noticed more was he was real sensitive and things got to him, world issues, his friends, his extended family issues, etc. He was too fragile for this, at times, cold heartless world. I have heard psychologists say that just as a person deals with diabetes, they deal with depression, it is a real disease. Can anything be done about diabetes? Yes, if you do all the right things to care for yourself, but what about depression? I know he is around a lot, and is able to help more from the other side. He is more alive than he ever was and knows all the mysteries of the universe; he is happy and carefree now. Don’t lose hope, she is and will continue to be with you always….
God Bless and keep you.
