Terri Lynn New Holy, 33yrs.old. Indian name He’ po’ hehe, “Smokewoman”.November 7,1985-June 9,2019.

Terri Lynn was born in Crow Agency Mt, and raised in Birney Mt. She attended elementary and High School at Lame Deer Public school. Terri began dancing at the age of 4, she danced fancy shawl, jingle dress, and traditional. She enjoyed pow-wows, traveling to represent the Northern Cheyenne pow-wow’s of which she held “princess” title-Ashland Labor Day pow-wow. Terri always assisted at the Birney Veteran’s Day Pow-wow. She was proud to watch her children dance and never missing her son Justin compete in the signing contest.
Following high school, Terri went to work at Heritage Center in Ashland, providing tender care to tribal elders residing there.
As time moved on, she met Justin Littlebird Sr. and together they had four children.
She is survived by her children Justin Jr., Terrian, Leah, and Julian. Her mother, Marian (Rudy Jr.), Sisters: Erin, Rhea, Sharla (Jason),and Margene (Sheldon). Brothers: Waylon, Rodney, Dana, and E.J. Aunts: Suzette “Kammie” Bryant, and Sarah Bellymule. Uncles: Michael “Mike” Bryant, Loy (Maureen) Bryant, and Clarence “Third” Medicine on Top. Grandmothers: Marlene Redneck, Nellie Redhat, Alvina , Alberta, Edith, Jane and Jean Nightwalker. Grandfather’s: Hugh Clubfoot, George Nightwalker, and Alford Nightwalker. Relatives, Spangs, Rednecks, Seminoles, Nightwalkers, Ryans, Pines, Standing Elks, Running wolfs, Fightingbears, ElkShoulders ,Medicine Elks, and Bellymules. Our deepest apologies to all extended family who we may have missed. Also Thanks and appreciation to the many nurses and doctors who attended to Terri and St.Vincent ICU.
