Thelma Isaac

Visitation: Monday, July 2, 2007 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church in Miles City

Interment: will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City

Thelma Alice Isaac, age 95, of Miles City went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City with her family at her side.

Thelma was born in Chico, California the daughter of George F. and Martha Adeline (Shepherd) Michael. The family moved to Cohagen, Montana when Thelma was a young girl and she went to Red Horse Country School and graduated from Cohagen High School. Thelma married Robert Wilson on November 4, 1933 and they had two children; Charles and Linda. Thelma and Robert lived in Fort Peck for a few years before moving to Miles City, MT where Thelma worked for the Met Cafe for the Lucas family. Thelma did numerous other jobs to survive during the 30s. She moved to Jordan working for Dukes Cafe, Foster Drug and Bud and Bills Meat Market. She later married Boyd Isaac in 1955, where they operated a ranch east of Jordan. Boyd passed away in December of 1976, and Thelma continued to operate the ranch until 1979 when she moved to Miles City where she has lived since.

Thelma was a wonderful seamstress; she enjoyed making her childrens clothes as they were growing up. She was involved with the Grace Bible church. Thelma loved gardening and canned much of what she grew. Her love for her family and her Lord and Savior was unwavering. Thelma will always be known for her generosity in every manner. Thelma was involved in Royal Neighbors, Grace Bible Church and numerous community organizations over the years.

Thelma is survived by her children; Charles (Sandy) Wilson of Jordan, MT and Linda (Mike) Rogers of Miles City, MT, sister May Pettit of Cohagen, MT, four grandchildren; Mike Wilson, Kim Cohn, Jen Crawford and Reese Rogers and four-great-grandchildren; Tom Cohn Jr., Paige Cohn, Christian Cohn and Kaden Cohn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, two brothers and husband Boyd.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City.
