Funeral Service:Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 11:00am at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth.
Burial: Burial will follow in the Forsyth Cemetery.
Thelma R. Quincer, age 71, of Billings formerly of Forsyth passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at her home in Billings.
Thelma was born June 29, 1936 the daughter of Lyle and Elsie (Deeks) Shipman in Miles City, Montana. She attended school and graduated from Ismay, Montana. On December 25, 1956 she was united in marriage to Leonard Quincer in Plevna, Montana. Together they farmed in the Plevna area, later moving to Clark, Wyo., where they ranched. Thelma and Leonard lived in Livingston then Glendive before coming to Forsyth in 1965, where they owned and operated the Modern Locker Plant. Together they also subdivide a parcel of land on the east edge of Forsyth known as Quincer Subdivision. They also built and operated the Forsyth Mini Storage. Leonard passed away in May of 2003 and Thelma continued living in Forsyth until July of 2006 when she moved to Billings. Thelma enjoyed gardening, ceramics, church, cleaning her home and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and other close family members.She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard and her parents.
She is survived by her children Kelly (Ira) Lehmann of Forsyth, Korry (Mark) Zuber of Missoula and Lance Quincer of Park City; her grandchildren, Dustin (Rachel) McCloud, Sarah (Mike) Almquist, Casey McCloud, Sadie McCloud, Hannah Zuber, Hattie Zuber, John Lehmann and 3 great grandchildren Wesly, Wylie and Lucy. She is also survived by her sisters, Vilma Bartel and Bonnie Janssen; her brother Berl Shipman, her mother-in-law Tillie Quincer and her sister-in-law Lorraine Tveit.
