Theodore Eik

Graveside Service: Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Forsyth Cemetery with full military honors.

Theodore Otis Eik (Uncle Ted), age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Medford, Ore.

He was born Aug. 26, 1930 in St. Paul Minn. Mr. Eik was a longtime resident of Forsyth, Mont., where he grew up and lived for many years. He later moved to North Bend, Ore. and then to Medford, Ore. Uncle Ted was loved by his family and was a very active and important part of their lives. Ted served his country in the U.S. Navy and earned a bachelors degree from the University of Montana. He worked for many years in Forsyth at Heberle Ford, where he was always made to feel like one of the brothers.

Ted is survived by his nephews and their wives, Michael and Carrie Brownell of Medford, Ore. And Mathew and Connie Brownell of North Bend, Ore.; nieces and their spouses, Patricia and Richard Castle, Jr. of Longview, Wash., Donna and Chris Vonlobedan of North Bend, Ore., JoAnn Brownell of Port Gamble, Wash., and all of their children and grandchildren.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Ole and Oletta Eik and sister, Betty Ann Brownell.
