Thomas Francis St. Germaine, 29, of Wolf Point, Mont., went to be with the Creator on April 16, 2011.
Thomas was born on Oct. 28, 1981, at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point to Lila Doney Martell and Roger St. Germaine Sr.A lifelong resident of Wolf Point, Thomas attended school from Head Start through high school. During his formative years, Thomas was a passionate sports fan often participating in Yellowjackets baseball, pick-up basketball games and his favorite sport, football. He was a committed Tennessee Titans fan who loved to enjoy NFL games at his home with family and friends.A vivacious family man, Thomas loved to host family barbecues. His culinary skills were well-thought of and well known by his family and friends. A specialty of his, jerky and smoked wild game, was often a point of brotherly competition between him and his older brother, Jamie St. Marks. Never admitting defeat, Thomas often remarked that the only winners in this competition were the "judges" who taste-tested the delectable treats. An avid Montana outdoorsman, Thomas loved to hunt and fish. Some of his favorite hobbies include trapping minnows, preparing for his next planned Mixed-Martial Arts competition, playing video games with his children and watching movies with his wife and best friend, Christina. His children often spoke lovingly how Thomas was "the best dad in the world" and "a great husband to his beautiful wife."
Employed in the construction and wildland firefighting industries his whole life, Thomas was currently working as a hod carrier (hoddie) while pursuing his apprenticeship in bricklaying and masonry.
He is survived by his wife, Christina, and four beautiful children, Lance, Shane, Lindsey and Robin; his mother, Lila; his only sister, Donna Jo (Fletcher); his brothers, Jamie (Son-ya), Roger (Joanne), Travis (Sara), Jason (Pauline) and youngest brother Jordan; and all his nephews and nieces who love him dearly. He was preceded in death by his dad, Roger Sr.; his sister, Denice St. Marks; aunt, "Dolly" Doney; uncle, "Chuck" Doney; paternal grandmother, Donna St. Germaine; and cousin, "Gator" Robinson."
A great man is not judged by the possessions he has, but by the lives he touched." Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend are the many names he will be remembered by, but most of all he will be remembered for his love of life and the happiness he brought to others. Thomas, you are greatly missed and loved.
A wake was held on Wednesday, April 20, at 4 p.m. at the SilverWolf Casino. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at the SilverWolf Casino in Wolf Point. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
