In Memory Of

Thomas H. Knight

Funeral services: 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home, Miles City, MT.

Interment: will follow in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City, MT.

Thomas Henry Knight, age 62, of Miles City, MT formerly of Ypsilanti, MI passed away suddenly Friday, May 29, 2009 from an apparent heart attack.

Tom was born on May 23, 1947 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of Kenneth and Lillie (Adiska) Knight. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965 and for many years worked for' Thetford Corporation. Tom became a licensed electrician and began his career with Towler & Notar.

Tom lived in Montana for most of the past 40 years and was in Michigan for a family reunion.Being an avid hunter and fisher he was most comfortable in the outdoors. Tom had a keen sense of devotion for dogs, horses and peacocks. Tom felt the pull of the West for many years, his favorite being Montana. At the time of his death he was residing in Miles City, Montana; a town that embraced him. Tom was a very social person. He was always ready to meet someone else's need. He had a special place in his heart for the elderly. He was a serious Football fan, National and collage, the university of Michigan., being his favorite.

Tom is survived by a half brother Donald (Debra) Youngs of Virginia Beach, VA, an aunt Dora (Knight) Plant of Houghton Lake, MI., four nephews Kenny, Gary (Katie), Todd and Jon (Monika) Youngs, two nieces Michelle Nowland and Kim (David) Husketh, three great nieces and nephews, Ryan Nowland, Jessica and Eric Husketh and many cousins of the Adiska family. In addition, he is survived by a great number of friends in Miles City, Montana especially his best friend from high school Ken Monier and his wife Penny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harold Young and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home, Miles City, MT. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City, MT.
