Thomas Rockroads III was born on November 28, 1984 to Charlotte Strange Owl and Thomas Rockroads Jr, SV’s in Billings on MT. His Indian name is Ho’honaemeo’o – Rockroads. He is named after his Great, Great, Great, grandfather James Rockroads. His nickname He’to’Kese –Little Star, given by Vance Littlebird and Ester Brady. He was raised in Busby, Graduated High School in Lame Deer in 2003. He worked in BIA Forestry, Roads, concrete, ranch work for Sterling Small. He was an artist in painting, wood work and beading. He was a very loving, humble, kind quiet, person, always concerned for his family. He made sure he gave his nephew’s and niece gifts. Had a great relationship, with his niece, nephews and grandkids. He was very appreciative of his Father for being a War Vet, and coming home. He and his sisters wouldn’t be here without their Father. Had a special love for his Parents, always taking care of them. In 2012 he was hit by a drunk driver, and had multiple head injuries, which caused life long mental and body injuries.
He survived by the love of his life Kyan Baker, Special Brother in law, Jr Rosas. His parents Tom and Charlotte Rockroads, his Sisters,Lori (Jr) Rosas, Laura (Josie), Rockroads, Gaberial,(Dani), Rosas, Stone, Evan (Marijayne), Khol, Liam Rosas, Only Special Niece Amira Rockroads. Grandbabies, Ziah and Zola Rosas. Sisters Rachel, Shasta, Deborah, Sylvia Strange Owl, and Billie Beth Two Moons. We have a very large extended Family, Rockroads, Two Moons, Strange Owls, Killsontops, Redneck, Runningwolf, Risingsuns, Youngmans, Littlebirds, Elkshoulders, Limpy’s, Brady, Littleoldman, Sandcrane, Clubfootes, Pine, Washingtons, Fightingbears, Longjaw, Spottedwolf, Lees, Our Family is Very Large sorry if we forgot any one. The family would like to thank the staff at Billings Clinic for taking such good care of Thomas.
