Funeral services: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
Interment: will follow at the Custer County Cemetery.
Thomas Steve Kovatch, age 54, of Miles City passed away at his residence in Miles City on March 18, 2008.
Thomas was born on March 31, 1953 in Harlowton, MT to Steve and Meryl (Evans) Kovatch. He attended schools in Glasgow, Lewistown and graduated from high school in Deer Lodge, MT. Thomas became a journeyman miner for several years before working at Buttreys as a baker, until they closed the bakery. Thomas went to work for sweetheart and various other businesses before moving to Miles City in the late 1980s and working in Colstrip working for over ten years. In the past years, he was working construction in Miles City.
Thomas enjoyed working with stained glass and was a collector of rocks.
Thomas is survivedby his father, Steve Kovatch of Bozeman, MT and his brother James Paul Kovatch of Bozeman, MT.
He was preceded in death by his mother Meryl in 1997.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow at the Custer County Cemetery.
