Timothy James Little Boy was born on December 6, 1956 in Crow Agency, MT to Louis Little Boy and Doris Wolftooth. His nickname was “Ten Bears”. Tim walked into the woods July 15, 2020 in Butte, MT. Tim had an outgoing personality and would come up to you and say “Hi I’m Ten Bears” with the biggest smile. Tim lived many places over his life including Montana, Oregon and New Mexico making many friends along the way. Tim lived in Lame Deer with his “mom” Mary Underwood and Harold Underwood for a time. He helped with her beadwork and dry meat. During this time, he worked at the casino in Lame Deer as a cook. He would always bring home food for them. He would call and say, “don’t cook I am bringing you some food.” This is the type of person Tim was. He loved looking after them. Mary would show him how to bead, fringed shawls, and how to make moccasins. Tim grew up in Birney at his grandma Josephine Wolftooth’s place with his brother and sisters. As Tim grew older, he became involved in the Sundance and the Native American Church. Tim was also baptized in the Catholic Church. The mid 1970s Tim was involved with the American Indian Movement, providing security for Dennis Banks, Russel Means and Russel Redner in the Salem/Portland, OR area. During this time is where he met the Love of his Margaret “Maggie” Alby, with this union they had son Marlow. Also, during this time Tim and father in law Frank built the first sweat lodge in the Oregon State Penitentiary and the Oregon State Correctional Institution and formed the Iron Hand Drum Group. In the 1980s Tim and family relocated to Albuquerque where Tim worked as a counselor at the pueblo health program and daughter Haida was born. On to his next journey, Tim came back to Colstrip and started working for Montana Power Company. Later he moved to Billings and worked at New Day working with the Youth. Tim is proceeded in death by Mother Doris Wolftooth, Mary, and Harold Underwood; Brothers Rusty Locher, Marvin Spotted Elk and Robert ShotGun. Also proceeded in death by Daughter Haida, Grandson Gerald Job Little Boy; Nieces and Nephews J’Shon, Michelle, Malissa and Ruben. Survived by Uncle Dan (Dee); Sisters Lynda, Karen, Erma (Wilmer), Josephine, SueEllen and Nikki; Children Janita, Kayla, Marlow and Alisha; Nieces and Nephews Bobbi, Kelly, Megan, Starla, Crystal, Robert, Jessie, Mosiah, Ken, Aljay, Rosie, Danielle, Debbie, Kermit, Julianne, Wilmer Jr., Dave, Ben, Michael, Dayne, Lance, Brandyn, Jayson, Jayden, Zeus, Lilly, Cire, Shane, Shanaya; grandchildren, Unique Bryant, Joseph Phillips, Jr., Stormi Phillips, Troy Little Boy, and Lisa Bella Rivera; and Special Niece, Ariel and Nephew, Rusty and Also survived by Wolfblack, Blackwolf, Iron Hand, Rowland, Medicine Top, Little Old Man, Medicine Bull Ant, Yellowfox, Whiteman Families and The Birney Boys.

Im at a loss 4 words….my name is charisse and im from warm springs oregon and Tim used to be with my mom.. He was with us for about few years. He made a full white buckskin board for my niece who. Is 24 today…..i have pictures of Tim in my storage…my condolences to his family …i am gonna miss tim very much rest in peace him…..Atowiishumash
