Interment: Eastern Montana State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1579.
Timothy Lee Wilson, 51, died Monday, February 28, 2011, at the Eastern Montana Veterans Home in Glendive.
Tim was born on December 22, 1959, in Billings, Montana, he was the second son of Malcolm and Connie Wilson.Growing up in Miles City he graduated from CCDHS in 1977and joined the Navy. After returning from the Navy, he worked in Miles City until moving to Oregon. While living in Oregon, Tim worked in the automotive audio industry. He was a top installer of sound systems and achieved awards from the manufacturers. After living in Oregon for many years he returned to Helena, Montana and started his own business. Tim closed his business in Helena and returned to Miles City and worked as a cook until he was unable, due to his illness.
Tim loved fishing, collecting vintage fishing lures, working on his old truck and playing with his dog Archer. Tim enjoyed riding motorcycles and his odyssey, and loved taking road trips. He built remote control aircraft which he flew. He loved being with his friends and family. He will be remembered by all his nieces and nephews as a favorite uncle.
His survivors include his two brothers, Dan Wilson, of Shandon, California and Dave (Wendy) Wilson, of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Marlene Wilson of Belgrade, Montana; and his nieces and nephews, Sonny Wilson, Ben Wilson, Heather Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Alex Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Madison Kelly and Hailey Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Connie Wilson, one brother, Mark Wilson and two sisters Linda Wilson and Laurie Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral service to be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in Eastern Montana State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post 1579. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
