Todd Duane Williams, age 49, formerly of Cohagen, MT passed away suddenly on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Illinois Valley Community Hospital.
Todd was born in Kirksville, Missouri on March 23, 1963, the son of James and Carol (Smith) Williams. As a family, they left Missouri and moved to Wyoming. They then moved to Montana, settling in Cohagen in 1980. He attended schools in Jordan and graduated from Garfield County High School in 1981. After high school, he did seismograph work in the oil fields. Todd did carpenter work with his uncles all over. He worked for the gaming industry setting up poker machines for several years.
Todd enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf and loved to poke fun with his family and friends. He and Skip spent a lot of their time restoring old juke boxes and anything else that seemed couldn’t be done.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; Carroll and Blanche Williams; uncle Lester Lee Williams; extended family Tandra Allen.
Todd is survived by his parents, James and Carol (Smith) Williams of Cohagen, MT; three brothers: Michael John Williams and Diane Brooks of Miles City, MT; Tony Williams and Mikki Jo McFarland of Miles City, MT; Danny and Patty Williams of Jordan, MT; a sister, Sandi and Benny Gavin of Billings, MT; nieces: Anita and Jason Hooper of Gulfport, MS and Kelly and Josh Smith of Billings, MT; grandparents: Lyle and Berniece Smith of Kirksville, MO; uncles: Leroy and Terry Williams of Atlanta, MO; Randy and Maria Smith of Chandler, AZ; aunt: Barbara Pipes of Amarillo, TX; extended family: Skip and Michelle Johnson of Ottawa, IL; Blaze, Desirae, Elmer, Skippy and numerous cousins and family members.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Jordan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cohagen Hall. Burial will follow in the Cohagen Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Jordan is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
