Our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Friend, and Father to be passed on the first day of Spring 2022. Treyson was born March 16, 2003 to Joel Means and Sheila Shoulderblade in Crow Agency, the only son with three younger sisters, Taeleia, Arryana, and Kylei Means; cousin/sisters/brothers, Jobia (Troy), Alaia (Matthew), Keyshawn (Chontay, Nevaya, Marquez, Irie, and Davey) Isaac, and Isaiah Washington, Damion, Essence, and Sieta Magpie, Landon Jr. and Lathan, Lahava, Keyara, Kaitlyn, Sammy, Eugene, Marlene, Tavia, Teyvian and Andrea.
Treyson was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. His Cheyenne name is Playing Bear, Náhkȯhtsévo’soo’ėstse, named after his great great grandfather Ben Blackwolf.
Treyson was a Senior at Lame Deer High School, and was to graduate in May 2022.
Treyson met the love of his life, Anjelicia Killsnight, patiently expecting their baby girl in June 2022.
Treyson loved hanging out with his friends, loved his music, his two dogs, Home Boy and Luna, and most of all he loved all his relatives and friends. Treyson has touched many lives.
Treyson is survived by his parents, Sheila Shoulderblade and Joel Means, his 3 sisters, Taeleia, Arryana, & Kylei, his Grandparents: Dixie (John Robinson) Garfield, Ethelyn Spang Shoulderblade, Wilma (Neil) TwoMoons, Jamie Whiteman, Nellie Means, William Parker. Great Grandparents Llevando and Phyllis Fisher.
Uncles: Wendell (Anya) Shoulderblade, Thomas (Mabette) Spang, Landon Means, Quentin Means, Kevin Lonebear, Jay Fraser, Bob Hill.
Aunts: Crystalynn (Gus) Shoulderblade, Brandy (Sean) PrettyOnTop-Spear, Melissa Lonebear, Yolanda Fraser, Anya Means, Andrea Means, and Desi Rowland (Teague).
Treyson’s families of Means, Robinson, Fisher/TwoTwo, Spang, Shoulderblade, Blackwolf, Fisher, Harris, Wolfname, Yellow Fox; numerous relatives and friends.
Treyson is preceded in death by his grandparents/great grandparents: Eugene/Phoebe/Quentin Means Sr.; Wendell Shoulderblade Jr, Wendelline/Lawrence Niess Sr., Bernadine, Francis, Donald and Halona, and Mary Shoulderblade. Emeline/Alfonso Burt Spang, Henry/Lucille Fisher, Emil Fraser, and Juanita/LaForce Lonebear, Mary/Starla Alfonso Spang Sr., Ruth/ Wendell Shoulderblade, Sr., Cousin/Sister Shetae Sandcrane, and Kaysera Stops.
