So sorry to hear about Vera. She was a very close neighbor and friend from our childhood days. Our families enjoyed many memories of big holiday dinners, summer picnics, and riding the school bus together for years. Vera loved to bake and made 107 pumpkin pies one year! Sending my sincere condolences to all of her family. May she Rest In Peace .

Vera was one special lady! Such a hard worker and so helpful to people when she was at Walmart. I loved visiting with her about gardening. Rest in peace sweet Vera💔

Vera was a friend of my dads when they worked at Walmart. She stayed in my dads basement and watched over him, which I was so very thankful for her help. She was a kind soul!

Jerry got to know Vera especially at Walmart where she and I always connected if she was in the store.
Sometimes she seemed to come “out of nowhere” when I was in the store. I would not see her and then all of a sudden here she would be SMILE! We really cared about one another!!! I cannot remember not knowing Vera and having her as a special friend. We went to 4-H together and met in each others’ homes with our families! It was very special to have someone so loyal. When we would go to the fair in Broadus, we would be so intent on seeing and so hoping for first prizes on each other’s projects.
Do enjoy your special memories and stay close to the LORD, Jerry and Joyce

My condolences to Vera’s family. We knew each other so many years ago in Powder River County. She was a special girl.
