I can remember the first time we met. Vern had me going pretty good on who was this guy. He had noticed my name on the sweat pants and joked around with me until introducing himself. From that day forward family was found with walls being broken down. I enjoyed my visits with Vern from that day on and this man that shared our common bond. Vern get things ready for the day we meet again probably down by the river. Will enjoy a beer and a good fire while catching up. May the road rise up to meet you and the wind be at your back. Your friend and cousin.

We will miss a very devoted husband, father, grandfather. Vern always had a letter to the families at Christmas that was of the family year and when reading the letter you knew how proud he was of his family. REMEMBERING great his garden was and how he loved to fish and catch them fish, telling about going hunting with the daughters. Will miss him and all of this when visiting with Vern . God richly bless Vern and prayers to Wanda, LeAnn, Katie and family
