Vernette Rose Macioroski, age 84, of Terry, MT passed away at the Prairie Community Health Center in Terry, MT.
Vernette was born on April 5, 1926 in Rhame, North Dakota to Adolph and Dorothy (Davidson) Christianson. She attended grade school at Rhame, North Dakota, Ismay, MT and Mildred. Vernette and Tony Macioroski were married at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (LC-MS) in Miles City on June 4, 1947. Soon after, they moved to Terry where they made their home and raised their family. Vernette enjoyed collecting plates and various salt and pepper shakers and loved animals, especially cats & dogs.
Vernette is survived by her husband Tony Macioroski of Terry, MT, children; Robert (Bonnie) Macioroski of Florence, MT and Sheila (Randy) Thilmony of Baker, MT, her brother Max Christianson of Miles City; brother-in-law Billy Bacon, of Washington, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Vernette was preceded in death by her brother Don Christianson and a sister Doris Bacon.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Terry, MT. Interment will follow in the Veterans section of the Prairie County Cemetery.
