Vickie Lynn Chamberlain, 61, of Miles City, Montana passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, in her home with all her loved ones around her.
On October 13, 1960, on a crisp, vibrant day in Bozeman, Montana, Vickie was born to George and Rosella Parsons. Vickie had fond memories of her childhood in Bozeman. She fished and floated the Gallatin River, camped and hiked Highlight Canyon with her family, cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents. In June of 1975, her family moved to Miles City, Montana. This is when she attended Custer County High School.
On October 31, 1979, she gave birth to her only child, son Kelly Allen Parsons. Vickie would have moved heaven and earth for Kelly—a love that knew no end.
On December 4, 1987, Vickie married her soul mate and the love of her life, Gary Clark Chamberlain at their home in Miles City, Montana. With this union came her stepson Travis Eric Chamberlain.
On June 7, 2014, Vickie welcomed her daughter-in-law Holly Lyn Chapmon into her circle.
Vickie was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2016. Two weeks prior she found out her new love of her life was going to be born and she fought the cancer to be a grandma and make memories with her Kamden Allen Parsons that he will remember forever. Towards the end of her battle with cancer, she was blessed to have another love of her life, Kolten Chai-Clark Parsons. She felt very blessed to carry the name Me-Me.
She was honored to have been employed by her two great friends Kelly and Cindy Reid.
It meant the world to Vickie to spend time with family and friends and create special memories. Among those special times were many fishing, hunting and camping trips. She enjoyed countless super bowl parties. Numerous trips to Vegas and Deadwood. Hitting up a football game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. She could also be easily entertained sitting around a campfire under the stars.
She was survived by her sons Kelly (Holly) Parsons, Travis (Stephany) Chamberlain; Her grandchildren Kamden and Kolten Parsons, Aella and Ari Chamberlain; Mother Rosella Parsons; Sisters Ginger Bennett, Shelly (Bob) Dyba, Robin (Tim) Neiffer, Lisa (Dan) Sampson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and her faithful companion, Hope.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Chamberlain; father George Parsons; brothers Bobby and Danny; brother in-law Terry Chamberlain (Gary’s Twin); Grandparents Vern, Ellen, Henry and Minnie and numerous other family members that she has joined in heaven.
