Victor Isaac Costa, Jr Áxxpak Baalúusuuash (fortunate to have eaten a meal with him) his grandfather Arnold Coyote Runs, Sr. had asked an elder Ties the Bundle, Etting Little Owl to give Victor his Crow name. Etting’s named him after his World War II campaign when he was fortunate to have eaten a thanksgiving meal with a family. He was born December 6th, 1986, to Victor Costa, Sr. and Rebecca American Horse. He was raised by his Crow family in Crow Agency. Victor was descendent of Chief American Horse on his mothers side.
In Crow way he was raised by all his moms & dads, which are his aunts & Uncles.
Victor received his early education at Crow Headstart, Highland Elementary in Billings, Lame Deer, Hardin & St. Labre. Victor was an outstanding athlete and participated in wrestling his first sport & football was his favorite which he excelled in. He played for the Hardin Bulldogs, was a lineman where he intercepted the football and ran all the way down field to make a touchdown which was one of the best plays that year. He also wrote a song with his best friend Ross ‘Boonzy” Parker Jr. Our son Baby Vic was a young man that was fun, crazy, loving & owned his name!! He was became vicious Vic , a fighter, a scrapper & always took care of his battles.
His hobbies were swimming, camping, fishing, hunting & hanging out with family & friends, chilling with his homies & the street chiefs. Victor was always the life of the gatherings.
Although Victor didn’t have kids of his own, he loved his nieces and nephews. He took Noah Fisher as his own from his first wife. He later met his companion Lorna Doney whom he loved dearly & they resided in Billings.
Victor was a good hearted man, hard worker and a good hustler (lol). Victor encountered many obstacles in his lifetime but always kept a good spirit.

He always greeted me with a hug and smile. He was so respectful always asking about Jordell.
