Interment: Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the family lot of the Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka.
Violet Barrere, age 91, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.
Violet was born on September 27, 1917, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin the daughter of Olin and Gladys (Sparks) Joles . She grew up in Orlando, Florida. She married Irvin Spike Barrere when he was in the service.
Violet is survived by her husband, Irvin Spike Barrere of Miles City, MT; two daughters: Gladys (Bob) Branson of Billings, MT; and Charlotte Mason of Dublin, OH; a brother, Dick Joles of Euclaire, WI; a sister, Irene Patrow of Euclaire, WI; six grandchildren: Brent Anderson, Patrick, Kevin and Kimberly Malloy, and Tessa and John Oswald; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronnie Barrere, a daughter, Elaine (Lyle) Anderson; and a sister, Edith. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the family lot of the Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
