Tamara, Jr. and family, I am so sorry about Ginger. I know a lot of us were praying for her. The Lord always answers our prayers, sometimes just not the way we want them answered and not always in our timeframe. But He always loves us and His word tells us He will bring good from bad. Ginger is no longer in pain, no more tears; she is now living in happiness and joy. Hold your memories close, she will always be in your hearts. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

    April 19, 2017 at 8:25 am

Ginger was a beautiful person. We loved her for her smile and laugh and good heart and so much more. Kim would make excuses to come over if he knew she had been baking. She always had a green thumb and could make things grow out of whatever she planted them in. We loved it when you would come over because Gin would bring her slippers and we knew she felt at home. I like to think she is in Heaven with her dad feeling great. She fought a long battle and we will miss her. Wishing you all many happy memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please let us know if we can do anything. Love you all!

JR and family: So sad to hear of Ginger’s passing, but happy to know she is now pain free. She was so much fun to be around and we had such great pinochle times. She made the most beautiful cake for Matt’s graduation with all the things he was best known for depicted on that cake. We still have the photo. She was beautiful inside and out and I always envied her gorgeous hair. Relish all your great memories with her. I will. Jackie and Steve (and Matt)

    April 22, 2017 at 10:24 am

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Ginger’s family. There’s such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I’d like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it’s not that prayer simply makes us feel better.
2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “… power beyond what is normal “, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, “… all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out “. Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our amazing hope!
2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, “… the God of all comfort “. One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort (Ps.83:18) be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.
