Vivian was born near the Mizpah Post Office in South Eastern Montana on May 16, 1913. Vivian was the 2nd of four children born to Glen and Patsy Bickle. She had two sisters; Erma and Ruby and one brother; Earl. Vivian grew up on a dairy farm in Miles City. Her family home was among the last standing homesteads on the east side of Haynes Ave in Miles City. This is where her son

Glen would be born.On April 8, 1931, Vivian marred Cecil F. Harbaugh. Cecil was a carpenter and they also farmed near Miles City. Vivian and Cecil had four children; daughter Frances (John) Johnson of Miles City, and sons; Glen (Joanne) Harbaugh of Billings, James Jim (Esther) Harbaugh of Miles City and Alvin who passed away.

In 1966, the family moved to Jordan, MT. They owned and operated the Jordan Motel and Trailer Court until 1979 when the returned to Miles City. Cecil passed away in 1984 and Vivian moved into the Eagles Manor where she resided for seven years before moving to the Friendship Villa in 2001, and then Shady Lane Assisted Living, where she made her home till her death.Vivians favorite color was green, evident by every wall in her home that she painted green! She enjoyed playing cards and fishing. Her greatest love was her family, especially her 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren! She accredited her 96 wonderful years of life to inheriting her parents good genes, as they also lived long lives.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, son Alvin Wayne Harbaugh in 1996, her parents, brother and sisters.
