I am very saddened to learn of Vivians death. She was a good friend who I did not see often, but whenever I did it was like no time had passed and we were able to take up a conversation where we had left off last time. She always had a kind word for everyone, and was one of the nicest people I have ever met. This world was a better place with her in it and I know now she and Jim can be together. My prayers go to her family.

Dear Mount Family, I am so sorry to hear your lovely mother passed away. She was always so kind and interesting. I remember when we were younger I always thought she knew how to do anything and everything! I also knew she was extremely proud of all you kids. What a great woman.

To Vivian’s children: I am sorry for your loss. I do have memories of your parents and their involvement at Sacred Heart when I was a student there. I was also lucky to be vacationing in Miles City when her funeral took place just yesterday. Even though it was brief, I was glad to have just a moment with most of you to give a hug and offer condolences. It was the first time I had seen any of you in decades…maybe since we were students together at Sacred Heart? I am sorry it wasn’t a happy occasion, but I was glad to see you for just a moment. I pray for your comfort and offer my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I wish you all the best. God bless!

I always enjoyed visiting with Vivian when our paths crossed at church or at the store – I always asked how she was and her response was always “I’m vertical!” Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mount Family: Such good memories of your family and so many good times with your mom in 4-H, bible studies, luncheons and school activities. Vivian was kind, funny, smart and so talented. I am sure she has assumed such a position to use her many talents in heaven. Would have liked to be there for her services but please know we have been thinking of you all.

My condolences to your family. I remember you mom when she taught catechism I think when I was in junior and was a friend of my mother and they were in the same circle together. She was a gentle and kind person who I will always remember with fondness. I haven’t seen your mom since my mom’s funeral and she made sure to say hello. I know she will be dearly missed.

I am fairly certain that she is a cousin of mine; I send my condolences to her loved ones regardless.
My grandfather was Wilbur “Webb” Gosney of Mt Pleasant, Mi; he was the son of Zane Gosney who I believe was Warren Gosney’s brother.
