In 1965, he was transferred to Miles City, working as a salesman at Valley Motor Supply.  Wayne was an agent at the Conoco Bulk Plant, Triway Mobile Homes as foreman, service manager for Horizon Mobil Homes and Isman Mobil Homes.  He also worked for Phil Schaff on construction and remodeling houses until he went into carpenter business himself.  He also did Wayne and Wayne Sound System with Wayne Lathrop for many years, doing PA for the fairgrounds and ballfields.  He was stricken with cancer in 1999 and retired to spend time enjoying his life with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  He liked going hunting and camping with family and friends.

Wayne worked on a lot of projects for the Jaycees. He was Past President and worked on the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale doing the PA work at the fairgrounds.  He was also Past Worthy President of the Eagles 885 Club and worked on many projects for them.  Later after he retired he worked on small projects in his garage and fixed things for his family.  He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Wayne is survived by his wife Delores, brothers-in-law Harley Ketterling and Robert (Arlene) Lorenzen; his children: Tereasa Beeler, Robert (Susan) Peltzer and Nancy (Russell) Bonine; ten grandkids:  Stephanie (Shawn) Randall, Alvin (Tiffiny) Beeler, Jessica (Kraig) Heidemann, David (Tiffany) Beeler, Laura (Jacob) Kuper, Krysten (Dustin) St Germaine, Brittany, Natasha and Amber Bonine and Jaycee Peltzer and Chase Bott; thirteen great grandchildren:  Kalynn, Brooklynn, Payton, Avery, Ramon, Piper, Brynn, Harper, Bryce, Jazzmin, Eric, Jaidynn, Madison and one on the way; and all his nieces and nephews.  Wayne was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Edith, twin brother Wesley, half-brother Don, step-brother Ernest, step-sister Virginia, son-in-law Todd, great grandson Aaron and daughter Irene who died at birth.

Wayne and I met (and became cousins) when his Mother, Jessie, married my uncle Ernest Hiber. We lost track of each other as we grew up but I saw Edith every now and then. He and Wes were my age and would be together at family functions. My Mom, Jessie Farwell, and Jessie were very good friends and both happened to be red heads! May you be blessed with may wonderful memories and peace knowing he is in a better place.

Add your thoughts and memories. Upon approval they will be added.
