Wesley Mark Selby, 58, died December 6, 2013 in Miles City, MT
He was born May 25, 1955 in Albuquerque, to Wesley T. & Betty Selby. Mark was a gentle, kind, intelligent, artistic man with a ready smile and sense of humor. Mark will be so fondly remembered as our very proud, sensitive, hardworking father, brother, and uncle. He left us much too soon. May his precious soul rest in peace.
He lived, raised his sons, and worked for thirty one years in Greeley and Denver, CO as a graphic designer and printer.
In 2003 he moved to Hamilton Montana, which he called home, then on to Miles City MT in 2010. His C.N.A. work in Montana was so highly regarded by both the residents and his co-workers as among the best. Mark had so many guardian angels by his side.
He is predeceased by his parents and his beautiful cat Silky.
He is survived by his two dearly loved sons Nathaniel Selby, Washington, DC, Ely Selby, Denver, CO; siblings, Peggy Loftfield (Earl), Albuquerque, NM; Thomas Selby, and Laurie Stanton (Paul), Hamilton, MT; five nieces and a nephew.
There will be no formal services but a family memorial is planned for this spring to celebrate his life. Condolences may be left for the family at stevensonandsons.com

We wonder why God has plans for some who have such a kind, gentle spirit in helping and caring for the elderly. They say God only gives what he thinks one can handle, and Mark, I know your burdens were many, I enjoyed working with you and shall miss the hugs when I saw you after the Villa. Rest in peace friend, until we meet again. May God bless you and keep you in the shelter of his loving arms. You will be missed . My thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathy to your family .

After reading about you in tonight’s paper, I am broken hearted that I didn’t know you or, worse yet, your current circumstances. You would have been more than welcome in my home. May you forever rest in peace.

Mark was one of the kindest, most giving CNA’s i have ever had the pleasure of hiring and working with. He didn’t know the word “no”. The residents loved him. if someone wouldn’t eat or allow care, it was usually said “Wait for Mark …they will do anything for him.” I am teary as I write this but so blessed to have known him. RIP Mark …I will never forget you.

My sincere condolences to the family of Wesley Mark Selby – May you find comfort in your loving memories, beautiful pictures and in recalling the many talents of Mr. Selby. God did not purpose that mankind suffer and die (Romans 5:12) and has promised that a time will come when no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). The Bible promises a resurrection of dear family members and friends that we have lost (John 5:28, 29). The Paradise that was originally promised for the earth in the Garden of Eden will be fulfilled causing God’s “will to be done as in Heaven also upon Earth” (Matthew 6:9, 10). I hope you are comforted by Bible promises of a better future (John 17:3).
