Graveside Service: July 9, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City

William Henry Bill Gibson, age 52, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at his home in Miles City.

Bill was born on August 31, 1956 in Jordan, Montana, the son of Guy and Barbara Margaret (Jessen) Gibson. He attended school and graduated from Custer County High School. Bill attended Miles Community College where he received an Associates Degree. He worked for Parkers Bar, Custer County High School and Washington Middle Schools as a maintenance man. Bill then went to work at the War Bonnet Inn as a maintenance man and continued working there until the time of his death.

William is survived by his mother, Barbara Gibson of Miles City, MT; a sister, Wanda (Wayne) Holmlund of Miles City, MT; a brother, Don Gibson of Miles City, MT; a special friend, Sandy Mathis of Miles City, MT; a nephew, Kurt (Darcie) Holmlund of Miles City, MT; and a niece, Angie (Kris) Lohrke of Miles City, MT.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Family and friends will then proceed to the Custer County Cemetery for a 4:00 p.m. burial. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
