Glenn was certainly an interesting person, good neighbor, and was eager to share information on anything concerning aviation. Will miss his wit and one-of-a-kind laugh. Peace and comfort to the family in this difficult time.

Glenn was one of the last true Otter Creek characters! He was one do many firsts on the creek, from having the first roping arena, short horn bulls to the many airplanes he flew and sprayed with. Will always remember him on his grey horse as they were quite a pair. Glenn and family were a valuable part of the Otter community.
Especially appreciated his great sense of humor and unique laugh. Thoughts and prayers to Jeff and Michelle and families during this very trying time. Rest In Peace Glenn, your work on earth is done!

WHAT A SHOCK–I JUST SAW GLENN AT THE IGA RECENTLY — IT WILL SEEM STRANGE NOT SEEING HIM AROUND TOWN–NICE MAN AND HE WILL BE MISSED. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO ALL HIS WONDERFUL FAMILY–YES, HIS WORK ON THIS EARTH IS DONE BUT HE CERTAINLY DID HIS SHARE. GOD BLESS ALL–

Glenn was an integral part of the Otter Community, remembering how excited I was when Glenn & Carol moved down next to us. I flew with Glenn and his wife Carol many times; from observing the Montana Cattle Drive during the Montana Centennial, checking the flood waters of the Tongue River at St. Labre during the rumor that the Tongue River Dam was going out (taking photos of both), to also doing an emergency medical flight to the hospital in Sheridan, Wyo. Perhaps one of my best memories was when Glenn came to spent an afternoon with my mother, visiting about the years Mom and his mother Florabelle spent as Broadus High School classmates during the late 1920’s. These memories are much like a treasure chest with Glenn being a vibrant part of such. Blessings to Michelle, Jeff and Wash Families – and GLENN!

Glenn gave me flying lessons when I was much younger. I also got to fly with him over the Great Cattle Drive. He always made me laugh. He and Carol were amazing people. My thoughts and prayers go to Jeff and Michelle and their families

Kea and Joe Yanzick will remember Glenn’s laugh, his sense of humor, his ambition and talent in the flying world, his being a great father and grandfather and neighbor. It is a shock to lose him – we thought he would live forever. We will remember the great love he had for his family and for his beloved wife Carol. They were fun cousins, and we saw them (and later himself) just about every time we came to Otter Creek. My parents, Cliff and Jo Thex, valued his good neighborlinss, and his availability in times of need. God be with him as he reunites with his beloved family members who went before him and await him. We will miss him dearly.

I flew with Glenn one summer taking photos for the usda, for crop verification. One of the more memorable trips was when he ran the gas out of one wing, and we landed with not enough fuel to speak about. When we got fueled up and back in the plane, to fly back to broadus, he said…. oh I can land without fuel….. He was always so fun to visit with (and yes I did go back up with him, but I watched the guages..lol). I seen so much country, and heard so many stories. The world will be a little dimmer without his laugh.

My condolences to the family. I remember Glen from our childhood in the Chalk Buttes. He was a good man and will be missed by friends and family alike. May his memories be a comfort.

I always admired Glenn’s devotion to Carol all those long nursing home years. On Sundays they could be found at the Stockman Restaurant with Glenn patiently helping Carol eat and enjoy the outing. I suspect some husbands would’ve bailed out on that level of caring and loving attention to a disabled spouse. Glenn had my admiration and I’m glad I once told him so.

Prayers to the Glenn Wash family. Enjoyed visiting on many occasion while driving truck, flying to Oklahoma and over the big cattle drive. He always had a kind word. Very thoughtful and caring person. May god bless.

Dear Wash Family ~ I am so very sad to hear of Glenn’s passing. He was one of a kind for sure! I spent a summer flying with him doing FSA maps – I know he wondered why I kept showing up as I always turned green and had to pack ziplock bags! I had full trust in him, just apparently a very weak stomach! The only time I didn’t get sick was when he let me sit up front to let me “drive” and gave me lessons on all the many buttons and gauges. I so enjoyed working at the shop and helping him keep books too. He was a true friend to everyone and openly shared his knowledge and love for all things. I could count on a big genuine hug anytime I saw him, even all these years later. Fly high dear friend, you will be missed. God Bless

Jeff, so sorry for your loss of your dad. I have many good memories learning to fly with you two! Always felt safe and knew I was learning to really fly when I was with Glen. I also admired his love and care for your mom.

Am so sorry to lose Glen. Sharing similar interests in flying, trucking, and country living, I will surely miss spinning the yarn with him especially after church and otherwise. He helped me in a pinch on more than one occasion, and was always generous with his talents. One of the first to welcome me to Powder River County over 20 years ago when I landed at the airport, it is hard to imagine where the time went and the memories we make in other’s lives. I witnessed Glen have many losses of loved ones, income sources, etc, but he never lost his humor. My Thoughts and condolences to Jeff and family. I apologize I could not make it to the funeral. Your dad was a good man! May God bless and enrich his life beyond!

Dear Wash Family
We are so sorry to hear of Glenn’s passing. We ran cattle on the Wash ranch when we first moved to the Miles City area and were good friends with Jeff, Glenn and Carol.
May Glenn rest in peace, and may you, Jeff and Michelle, remember your dad with great fondness.
