Funeral Service for William Jackson of Gillette, Wyoming will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Kenna Rose officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m.7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.
William Jackson, age 25, a Gillette resident died August 10, 2005 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident while working.
William John Jackson was born July 30, 1980 in Lusk, Wyoming, the son of William and Donna (Reese) Jackson. William was raised and educated in different Wyoming communities. Upon his schooling Will began to work in the methane fields as a derrick hand. He worked in the fields of Rawlins, Sheridan & Campbell County. He was working for A-1 Drilling under his dad at the time of his death. William is going to be remembered most for his huge, laugh and likeable personality. William enjoyed skateboarding, reading science fiction books, and drawing. William loved his son, he enjoyed remembering him as a baby watching him grow, playing ball in the backyard and snow ball fights in the winter.
He is survived by his son Gabriel Scott of Laramie; his parents Bill (Tina) Jackson of Gillette; Donna (Dean) Harris of Lusk, Wyoming; two sisters: Louisa Walker and Natasha Jackson, both of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two brothers: Kelly Stone of Missouri, and Joshua Jackson of Lusk, Wyoming; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
