William Stanley Bill Reno, age 64, of Miles City passed away on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Bill was born on September 21, 1941 in Hay Springs, Nebraska, the son of Clarence Ray and Irene Reno. He moved with his family to Terry, Montana at the age of three and he attended schools there. Following his schooling, he worked in the oil fields. Bill married JoyceRoufley on May 11, 1975, they had two children, Waylon and Joni. He then married Linda Sakelaris on March 2, 1992. Through the years, Bill worked for Schlautmann Dairy,Thiruds Office Supply out of Sidney, was a bartender at the VFW Hall and on August 8, 1987 he went to work for the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City until retiring in 2004. Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Reno of Miles City, MT; a son, Waylon Reno of Billings, MT; a daughter, Joni Reno of Billings, MT; a brother, Derald (Vivian) Reno of Sidney, MT; two sisters: Geraldine (Charles)Klunder of Havre, MT and FrancesThoeny of Winnemucca, NV; a sister-in-law, PatSakelaris of Miles City, MT; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.
