Thomas (Tommy/Rabbit) William Graham left this world on April 30, 2022 to join his family, relatives and friends who have gone on before him. Tommy passed while at the Veteran’s Hospital in Sheridan, Wyoming after suffering a long illness. Tommy was born in Jordan, Montana to the parents of Thomas and Nellie Williams Amenston. He attended schools in Jordan and Glasgow. While growing up, Tommy grew up in the county enjoying a country/cowboy lifestyle which included riding horses, hunting, and farming. Tommy enjoyed rodeo’s and tried his riding skills also. He enjoyed western movies, reading Louis Lamor books, and playing cards. He enjoyed visiting with friends talking about old times and telling new ones. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and John Wayne was his hero. Tommy was a veteran serving in the Army in the Korean War.
Tommy was married to Georgia Mason Graham for 52 years and they made their home in Ashland, Montana during this period. Tommy worked and retired from the St. Labre Mission. He spent time as a long-haul truck driver and seen much of the United States. Tommy also worked on many ranches and enjoyed helping with ranching and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia; daughters: Merrille Redrobe (Paul) of Ashland, Pearl of Billings, Tammi of Garden City, Kansas; sons: Tommy D. Graham of Forsyth, George (Jessie) of Wyoming, TL of Lone Pine, Calif., Bill of Ashland; grandchildren: Breylene, Cheyenne, Maria, Jesse, Jackie, Aleah, AJ, Catherine, Teir, Colby, Brandy, Jace, William, Delane; he is also survived by in laws: Bill Mason (Mary Ann), and Nedra Watt (Mike), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and relatives who are preceded in death are children: Vicki Mason, BJ and Anges; parents, Thomas and Nelli; mother-in-law, Agnes Mason; brothers, Douglas, Robert, and Pat; brother-in-law: Lee Harris (Dorothy), Mike Watt (Nedra); grandchild, Shaylee; good friend, Butch Ivester (Gail).
Tommy became “RABBIT” while growing up in Jordan when after a hunting trip one winter with a friend when they got some rabbits. After the hunting trip, they decided to warm up in a local establishment. The bartender refused to serve Tommy. Tommy then went and got one of the frozen rabbits and threw it at the bartender (a relative). The story spread and Tommy became Rabbit.
There will not be any funeral services per the previous request from Tommy. The family will host a Celebration of life memorial later this coming summer.

I met Mr. Graham when he was first admitted to the VA. At that same meeting I was told to call him Tommy …. that he didn’t know that other guy lol. It was my great privilege to help take care of this man who was always up and going even when he didn’t feel his best. Tommy soon became part of our expected routine and was always there to greet staff and watch out for other Veterans. I can’t imagine being separated from family at the end but know that Tommy was never alone. My sincere sympathy to all of the family.

Add your thoughts and memories. Upon approval they will be added.
