Wilma Ruth Davis, age 70, of Wolf Point, MT, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Home from complications of a stroke.

Wilma was born to Clarence and Beatrice A. (Gagne) Dillon on November 19, 1938, in Wolf Point. She grew up southeast of Wolf Point on the family farm and attended Sunnyside Grade School. She was a graduate of Wolf Point High School, class of 1956. After graduation Wilma moved to Spokane, WA attending and graduating from Kinman University where she was employed as Secretary. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1963 Wilma moved back to Wolf Point and raised her two children until October of 1979. Since then her "family" has included the residents and staff of the Faith Lutheran Home. Wilma loved socializing and playing Bingo. The Wolf Point Stampede was her highlight of the year because her classmates were home for their reunions. Wilma loved her family and was so proud of her children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.

Preceding Wilma in death were her parents, her brothers Dennis Dillon and Dean Dillon and his son, Dennis.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Ellen (Al) Kant of New Underwood, SD and her son, Dale Davis of Rapid City, SD; her sister, Eileen (Ralph) Rigsby of Wolf Point, MT; granddaughter, Delana Grimsrud and great grandson, Tavner both of New Underwood, SD; grandsons Colton Kant of New Underwood, SD and Daniel Davis of Rapid City, SD; sister-in-law, Mary Dillon and niece Jolyn Dillon both of Colstrip, MT; niece Karleen Wiens of Wolf Point, MT and nephew, Kent Rigsby (Shelley) of Jamestown, ND.

A Funeral Service for Wilma Davis will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point, MT. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wolf Point followed by a reception at Faith Lutheran Home. Memorials may be made to the Wolf Point 100 Club, PO Box 1001, and Wolf Point, MT 59201.
