Wilmer H. Pawlowski, age 86, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the McCone County Health Center in Circle, Montana.
Wilmer was born on February 10, 1927, in Alpena, South Dakota, the son of Leonard & Lydia (Bartels) Pawlowski. At a very young age he lost his mother and was then adopted and raised by Irene (Reinemer) Pawlowski. Wilmer was about one year old when he, along with his older brother Howard and their parents moved to Circle, Montana. Wilmer grew up in Circle and graduated from Circle High School in 1945.
He married Nora Nagle on June 11, 1951 at the First Lutheran Church in Circle. They farmed, raised both sheep and cattle, and also owned and operated JJ’s Bar & Grill until they retired.
Wilmer enjoyed trips to rodeos such as Pocatello, Idaho; Houston, TX and the NFR in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed going to Laughlin and Prairie Nights where he would try his luck at the machines. When getting around got too tough, he enjoyed the mobility of his scooter he could rent. Sometimes you would find him out cruising the parking lot.
Wilmer is survived by his wife Nora, his brothers Wayne (Darlene) Pawlowski and Wendell (Mary) Pawlowski all of Circle, his brothers and sisters- in- law include Jim & Irene Siedel, Al & Helen Stirman and John & Ann Nagle. Wilmer is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.
Wilmer was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Lydia Pawlowki and step-mother Irene Pawlowski, his two brothers: Howard & Larry Pawlowski and two sisters in law: Laurel and Edie Pawlowski.

J Johnson says
Dear family of Wilmer Pawlowski – I am so sorry to hear of your loss and hope that you are comforted by many wonderful memories of Mr. Pawlowski. Please be comforted by the Bible hope of a resurrection (John 5:28, 29) promised by God. Sickness, pain and death were not a part of the Creator’s original purpose. Everything created by God was described as “very good” (Genesis 1:31) Death was introduced through Adam’s disobedience (Romans 5:12). Jesus gave us hope of everlasting life with perfect health and paradise surroundings such as originally given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Even death will be done away with (Revelation 21:4). The Bible book of Hebrews reminds that God does not forget all of the fine works your loved one showed. (Heb 6:10) Hopefully these Bible promises will ease the pain of this loss as you will look forward to being with your loved one again in paradise conditions. (John 17:3)

Mary Jo (Nerud) Lawrence says
Nora: I am very sorry to hear of Wilmer’s passing. I think about all the good times visiting home – having my lunch there in JJ’s and enjoying the visits with both of you. The last time I saw Wilmer was taking a dance around the floor with him at the Vet’s. He loved both the music and dancing. You had a special life together – he will be watching over you as a special guardian angel too. You are much in my thoughts and prayers. He is at peace in God’s loving arms.
