Our darling Zandy left this world on Monday, September 2 with her sister by her side, for death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it.
Zandra brought a special light to all who had the fortune to cross her path. Her greatest pride was her contribution to the produce and flower departments at Albertson’s. During her nearly 40-year tenure at the store, she developed many lifelong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Zandy led a simple life but enjoyed many small pleasures to their fullest: Rooting for the underdog, new earrings, a nice handbag, books, books, books and rock ‘n’ roll.
She is survived by her sister Johna Zinda Wilcox of Great Falls MT, best friend Meg Sampsel of Kalispell MT, her dogs Lemme and Jaeger, and Duncan Stanley of Miles City MT.
She was preceded in death by her father Anthony (Tony) H. Zinda, mother Connie Mae Zinda, sister Monique Zinda, and brother-in-law Robert Martin “Marty” Wilcox.
In Zandy’s honor, please be kind, honest and loyal to both strangers and those you love.

Zandra was not only the best friend anyone could ever have, she was my soul sister. We shared life’s highs, and lows together. During the last four months of her life, she was met with many challenges. First off being diagnosed with an auto immune disorder that resulted in paralysis of her legs. She worked so hard to get better with both grace and grit. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor which took her life. Her sister was by her side when she passed. I will forever love her and keep her in my heart. Like many have said Zandra was kind and had a smile like no other. She had a wicked clever sense of humor that I just adored. Rest easy, my dear friend, and I hope to see you on the other side.
