Alan Alexander Oldman, Ota’tavenste “Blue Face”, 15 months old, went home to the loving embrace of Ma’heo on February 14, 2019 at the Lame Deer IHS Clinic. An enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and raised on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation, Alan was born October 27, 2017 to Drew Oldman and Alyse Marshall of Lame Deer, MT. When he was first born, he was a quiet and calm baby who was always playful and hesitant of strangers until he got used to your company. At 10 months old, he began his first steps at walking, a whole new world opened up for him. He enjoyed playing in the outdoors and enjoyed following his mom and dad around wherever they were.
Our “Little Man” and “Hunkachunk”, Alan’s favorite drink was apple juice and he enjoyed watching his favorite cartoon Puppy Dog Pals. He always had a playful demeanor and enjoyed taking cruises in the car.
His grandmother Esther would sing to him and he liked to dance to her songs as well as learning the Cheyenne language and was just beginning to know his numbers.
